Our Coaches
Celeste Bathurst
Celeste has been the owner of Dancing With Celeste since 1992. Her journey began with notable achievements, including being crowned 1988 Queen of the River and graduating from Morningside College. Alongside her husband, she dedicated four years to volunteering on the Royalty Fleet of RiverCade. For the past decade, Celeste has also been the esteemed coach of the East High Raiderette Dance Team.
Calla Bestgen
Graduating from Dancing With Celeste in 2012, Calla excelled as a dancer on the ISU Gold Team from 2013 to 2017. In 2014 and 2015, she proudly represented her community as RiverCade Princess. Transitioning her talents into the classroom, Calla now serves as a dedicated 2nd-grade teacher at Morningside Elementary School while simultaneously pursuing her Masters degree in Elementary Education.
Holly Bathurst
After graduating from Dancing With Celeste in 2013, Holly pursued her love for dance at the University of South Dakota as a member of the dance team for one year before transferring to Morningside College, where she obtained her degree and contributed her talents to the college's dance team for two years. Now, Holly channels her energy into serving her community through her role at the City of Sioux City's Neighborhood Services department.
Erin Baker
Also a graduate of Dancing With Celeste, Erin danced on the Morningside College dance team for four years while earning her degree. Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, Erin spent nine years as the SBL Dazzlers coach and she now serves as the dance coach of her alma mater, Morningside College.
